Stephanya is a San Francisco Bay Area native. She began singing at the young age of 9 in her local church. She studied Music and Fine Arts at San Jose State University which helped her go on to win several State and National competitions. With her strong vibrant voice, this background supplied her with the skills, knowledge and discipline needed for a musical future. Her gospel choir background gave her a foundation to build an R&B sound which led her to perform with bands that have toured Japan, Canada, England, China and the United States.

Stephanya has recorded and performed with well known Grammy winning artists such as Bryan Carter of ConFunkShun, Larry Braggs of Tower of Power, rock band Y&T, “Moogie” Clemons of Cameo. In a different arena, Stephanya has recorded for Sony Play Station 2 video games. Her sultry voice can be heard on the #1 selling game in the world “Karaoke Revolution” Vol.’s 1, 2, 3 and the most current Vol 4. Stephanya’s performances are endless to name a few, a requested performance for California’s former State Speaker and San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, Rev. Jesse Jackson, also opening for R&B legends such as Rose Royce and Morris Day & The Time.
Stephanya’s sign is Libra and favorite snack food is gummy worms.



For nearly two decades, Renard has embodied the Bay Area with an unlimited range of vocal versatility. He was exposed to multi talented artists from jazz, R&B and funk. Renard realized his natural talents at a very early age. He was encouraged by his teacher and started singing with local groups, bands. Renard bacame quite the attraction when he took over the Lead Singer position with the well known recording artist "Switch" and toured the country wooing every ear his voice landed upon.

Michael Harper is one of several "athletes-turned musician", with the most notable being Wayman Tisdale. Born and raised in Berkeley, California, Michael honed his bass playing skills at Berkeley High School under the tutorship of Herbert Mims (former Saxophonist for The Whispers). He continued his education as a music major (with a business minor) at Los Angeles Southwest College in Los Angeles, Ca., and credits Verdine White (Earth, Wind and fire) and Motown bassist James Jamerson, as being his main influences that helped to shape his style of playing.

Adam was born in Richmond, CA and comes from a muscial family background. His father, also a drummer taught Adam to play drums when he was a small boy. Since then, Adam has made a name for himself playing with chart topping muscians such as Larry Graham. With an California Music Award under his belt playing with "Marginal Prophets", the sky is the limit.




Moogie was born in Dallas, TX and brought to M8TRIX great experience and fine tuning. As a member of the Grammy winning recording artist “Cameo”, Moogie brings his proficiency and knowledge of the piano, keyboards, synthesizer and vocals to enhance the sound of R&B with strings, horns and other elements of music found in the music of today. Moogie moved to California in 1998 where he met and began a long association with Larry Blackman of Cameo. Now with a family, he has chosen to root in California and with M8TRIX. Moogie’s sign is Gemini and his favorite snack food is "Oreo's center.

With over 23 years experience performing with bands such as Brothers Owens, Wall Street and Rhythm Nation, Mark thrives on delivering a memorable performance that will inspire other to pick up the guitar. Born and raised in Richmond, CA, Mark has performed in venues all over the world. Armed with an innate since of groove and feel, Mark can lead the way with a blazing solo or lay back in the pocket and provide splashes of harmonic color. The musical passion and tonal texture that flow from this talented guitarist clearly expressed his love for music.
